Data Access

Application Process
To be granted access to RDC data, researchers must submit an application, which includes a project proposal and CV. This application must then be approved by Statistics Canada and SSHRC reviewers. Following application approval, researchers undergo a security screening protocol before being granted access to the RDC.

RDC applications are done through the Microdata Access Portal

Please read the Microdata Access Portal process followed by the application guidelines when putting together an RDC application. Further information can be provided by contacting the NIPU RDC.
